This is a tree with white flowers. Each flower is unique in its own way. Some of the flowers have little speckles of color on them, which I attempted to capture in my photographs. When taking these pictures, I took the general angles, then I decided to try focusing on a single flower, and even trying to look up under the flowers. All of these came out well.
Rings of Life
Fire Fuel
The "Rings of Life" photo really captures the essence of nature. Logs in general are very fun to design and photograph because there are endless possibilities and combinations. Recently, some trees were cleared out in this space. I took advantage of the wood left. There were many piles of fire wood and logs. I chose which one I was gonna take a picture of and started to find all the interesting angles. I looked and tried to portray the essence of nature in my pictures.
Huron
Sky-Tree
As I was walking along the Huron River, I stopped and looked. I saw a clear path and went down it to take a few pictures. Throughout this adventure I was trying to find a good light and position to take some good and interesting pictures of the river itself. Even though I came out with the trees as the main subjects of my photographs. These trees were so vibrant in color, I couldn't resist taking more pictures of them than the river. They both complemented each other so well.
Great Wisdom
The Growth
While walking in Parker Mill Park, I stopped on the path to look for intriguing qualities of nature to capture in my photographs. There was a big tree in the middle of the path at one point. I had to step way back to capture the whole tree. Then, I started to find angles and different ways to capture both the whole tree and the smaller parts, All of the angles and photos that I captured, I looked for the impact of age and time. This tree must've been over 100 years old and has seen so much of the change in its area.
Straight Vertical
Secret Code
Once I saw this tree, I knew it would be the perfect landscape. I tried to capture as much as I could of the whole tree. Then I started to focus in on the writing and carvings in it. This tree must've been carved into dozens of times and been a sentimental moment for many people. These pictures evoke love and compassion, I aimed to find a scene at which it would evoke those feelings and emotions that are simply hard to find in nature especially.
